WALA & WILF Power Point

After I made WALA & WILF's a goal for my P & D meeting I decided to try and create/use a PowerPoint presentation to display them to the students. This only lasted one week simply because I use my main white board for my "Class Dojo" tool and the kids were getting frustrated because they couldn't see the home screen and when they received  or lost points.  After a week I knew this wasn't going to work and I needed to come up with something else.

WALA & WILF Written on the board!

After the failed PowerPoint option I decided to go back to the dark ages and simply write it on the board. This lasted a couple of weeks however I kept running out of board room to write on! My main interactive board is not suppose to have anything written, blue tacked or magnetised onto it therefore I only have a small 1 metre x 1 metre space to write on. This was often full with instructions or the students thoughts/ideas therefore the WALA & WILF was almost always forgotten about.

WALA & WILF Memo book!

Finally I have now created a WALA & WILF memo book where before the week begins I write all the WALA's on a page and some of the WILF's, leaving space for the kids to generate their own as a class. The book seems to be working. It is displayed on the stand with the other memos and is flicked to the necessary page at the start of each lesson.
